Hello folks,
Well, had a good call with Alex Jefferys last night about traffic generation! This an area which i really like. He was telling us about Oil Rig hopping and using social media like twitter to generate traffic, was really really cool!
I actually already have a twitter account active and if you want to follow me just add danbriffa i should come up.
Anyway, well i have decided to do some traffic generation tests to help others determine which methods work best and which dont, that way if a method fails the test….. you know not to do it! ….. Or at least you’ll piggy back from my experience with it.
For the first test i will be using is using an online tool based application called Traffic Geyser. What traffic geyser does is submit your video’s all over the net to various social media site.
I have heard a few people talking about and singing its praises so i decided to investigate this tool further to really see what it can do.
My next test is a tool called tubeblaster pro which is kind of similar although it blasts comments to all your friends on youtube and leaves comments etc on videos which sound really cool… so lets see what this baby can do huh!
I will be posting my results on a fairly daily basis so keep coming back for updates!
Speak Soon
Dan

Hi Dan
First I downloaded and read your Ebay book very good and informative.
I see you are going to try Traffic Geyser. I also received the information pertaining to this and was thinking of giving it a go. Now I can just sit back and wait for you to do the testing. Just kidding, I’m not ready for the video thing yet, I wish you good luck.
If you do have good results I will certainly speed things up a bit. Keep us all posted.
If you are adding to your Students of Alex list, I would certainly like to be added. I have added you to my list already.

Hi,
Just wanted to say hello and see how you’re doing with traffic generation
and to tell you how the things working out for me.
I would really like to hear everybody’s story regarding traffic.
I will give you my insights to what is working for me.
I went on squidoo and created my first lens which was actually fun.
I noticed that within first 20 minutes after I saved my page there was 6 views already.
I could not believe it.
I also created twitter account and made connection from Squidoo to twitter.
I still need to check how twitter works.
Also I wanted to mention another site that I have not heard anybody mentioned so far.
It is called
http://delicious.com/about
It is social bookmarking site to increase the traffic to your site.
I am creating my account there now and will make a post about it with more info.
I know some people that praise this site very highly.
I really hate to come on here asking people to come on my blog
but sometimes that is the only way to get your ideas through.
I have created testimonial site and would like everyones participation
and believe that this kind of site would help us in the future
when our relationship with Alex expands.
If you are interested in being part of this site or you would like to see
my page at squidoo just to have an idea that will help you to start your page off,
have a look at my blog.
I dont want to mentioned my sites here as I dont find it tasteful.
That’s it for now,
Speak to you soon,

Whats up Dan,
I am looking forward to your test results and please let me know how you like Traffic Geyser and how well it works for you. My only concern about Traffic Geyser is because it post a lot of content in such a short amount of time, that Google will pick up on that and slap you, What do you think?
Be well and prosper,
Mike
